What is a Private Membership Association (PMA)?

A coming together of like-minded people to achieve a goal, within their own group, under private law.

What is the Riverside Farm Market PMA’s purpose and function?

Its purpose is to protect the private rights of members to freely assemble, exchange or sell products or services, and offer each other support that best suits the needs of our members, without public restriction.

The PMA is organized under Private Law of the United States of America and the First Amendment of the Constitution and is completely unincorporated.

By contracting with one another in this way, our association will operate under the rules of its creation; Private Law.

How does it benefit our group?

Have you ever heard of a product or service that is innovative, healthy or healing somewhere else in the world but is not “legal” in NYS for whatever reason?

PMAs work by lifting those restrictions through membership contracts which keep us under a private jurisdiction of law, unlike the public jurisdiction we are accustomed to.

All public laws that do not affect Natural Law (do no harm to people and/or property) do not apply to us as long as we remain contracted with each other.

What is entailed in being a member?

In order to remain Private, our association does not reach out for services from Federal, State or even local governments and Civil Services. Any issues/concerns/problems are handled within our group and without public agencies or agents.

How do I join?

Please read through our brochure and “PMA Contract.” If the terms are agreeable, sign up. That’s it!

Additionally, you are free to cancel your membership at any time you choose.

I’ve never heard of a PMA before, is it new?

No! Private membership groups have been around since the founding of this country.

Did you know that the Democrat Party, Republican Party, the BAR association and even the Freemasons are all PMAs?

The question to ask is why were we never told about these?
