The Role of the Private Membership Association
Our Private Membership Association (PMA) is not about bypassing regulations or sacrificing attention to detail in food production. Rather, it’s designed to reduce unnecessary bureaucratic delays and regulatory fees, promoting efficiency while keeping prices fair for consumers.
The membership/buying group operates with a commitment to transparency and accountability. Anyone supplying the Club must adhere to best management practices, clean food production, and quality testing where applicable. This ensures that every product meets the highest standards for safety and excellence and keeps everyone involved accountable to each other.
This streamlined approach fosters a direct connection between farmers, producers, and consumers while delivering high-quality, wholesome foods and superior health products without compromise.

Riverside Farm Market is a “direct from the farm to the consumer” retail store with a twist. A private membership based buying club that offers customers many products that you would not otherwise find at most stores.
The store is a year round local farmer’s market offering not only the meats and produce grown on our farm but also agricultural products produced from many local farms in our area. The mission is to develop a fully sustainable, local alternative economy where all of the needs are met in our immediate area. This model will ultimately be a template for other communities to follow in order to increase their independence for food security and healthy remedies.
If COVID taught us one thing it’s that the distribution system in this country if more fragile than we had thought. The food system in America is overly dependent on centralized packing centers for produce and livestock and a distribution system overly dependent of trucking food long distances. Additionally, the health care industry is atrocious display of profit and greed at the expense of the health of Americans.
The model of Riverside Farm Market is to return to a local or regional seed to consumer network of farmers, butchers, processors, local distributors and engaged consumers.
The PMA is not about skirting regulation or excusing attention to detail in the production of food. Conversely, its goal is to reduce the unnecessary costly delays due to bureaucratic timelines and keeping prices reasonable to the consumer but cutting license and regulatory fees.
How It Works
1. Read through our PMA bylaws and contract.
PMAs work by lifting restrictions on certain products through membership contracts. Public laws do not affect Natural Law (do no harm to people and/or property) do not apply to us as long as we are contracted to one another. Our contract spells everything out so people understand when they join what is involved.

2. Sign contract and pay fee.
After you sign and pay, you are now officially in our PMA!

We have regular open hours but are also available by appointment for you to purchase whatever products you want. We might offer online selling/ordering eventually but as we start, we invite you to come in, meet us, and we can show you all we have to offer.
